Online Resources

Library members can read e-Books and digital magazines, listen to downloadable audiobooks, research encyclopedias and dictionaries, access online reference information or do a course, 24/7 all for free.

To do this, all you need is your 14 digit library membership number, and an internet connected pc, tablet or smartphone.

Cumbria Library Service also subscribes to a range of online resources which library members can use for free in our libraries.

These include local and family history websites such as Ancestry, Find My Past, and free access to research journals via Access to Research.
