Information Service

Provides information, advice and support to people with any disability from older people to the parents of infants and the families and carers of all, regardless of whether they have learning or physical disabilities or mental health problems.

We help clients with any disability related enquiry including access issues, holidays, aids & equipment, employment and training. The majority of the work involves welfare rights and helping clients to complete complicated and often confusing benefit forms. We assist the client to complete Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance and Employment Support Allowance forms, and help them through any subsequent appeal process.

Talking Newspaper

A weekly recording of the local news for people with a visual impairment. This valuable work is done solely by unpaid volunteers.

I.C.E (Inclusive Community Engagement)

Providing learning opportunities, activities to promote health and well being, and a friendly informal meeting place for adults with physical disabilities. This is a drop in service that takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays.
