Turning Point in Cumbria provide short term supported accommodation services to adults who have experienced a history of substance misuse, homelessness or risk of becoming homeless, offending history and socially excluded groups. We have 33 bed spaces across the county and we take a multi-agency approach in order to support our service users to develop a range of skills and provide them with an opportunity to feel a part of their community and overcome issues that have impacted on their previous lifestyle. We also have a 12 bedded rehab located in Workington funded by various County Councils. Residents can stay between 3-6 months depending on funding, they will complete a structured treatment plan on site to develop skills needed to overcome their problems with addiction.
